Here at MCP Carpets we have been fitting specialist safety floors for commercial clients for years. But what does it involve?
Stage 1
Here we've ripped up existing old tiles to a communal entrance to a block flats, they were worn and very tired looking.
Stage 2
Next preparations are made to the floor to smooth and level them using screed. This is then left to dry for 4 hours.
Stage 3
Next comes the fitting and laying of the safety vinyl then fully bonded using flooring adhesive. We used safety vinyl sealing around the edges with clear silicone to prevent and water getting in.
Final Stage
Finally, the tidy and clean up leaving a new, safe, shiny and hard wearing floor.
A bit about Tarasafe...Terasafe is a range of slip resistant sheet flooring that meets HSE guidelines.
